Valencia CF travelled to Majorca to take on Real Club Deportivo Mallorca on Saturday the 7th of October at 6:30 pm kick-off time at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix on Matchday 9 of LaLiga EA Sports.
Valencia CF had a nervy start to the game and only five minutes into the first half, the opposition took an early lead through Dani Rodriguez.
After the goal, Valencia CF struggled to settle into the game with the opposition dictating the tempo and possession under the ten-minute mark at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.
Moments later, Pepelu came mighty close to finding an equaliser with a superbly struck free-kick but he was denied by the upright on the quarter-hour mark.
Valencia CF enjoyed more ball possession on the half-hour mark with a series of corner kicks in the opposition box.
Vedat Muriqui thought to have put RCD Mallorca two goals to the good but thankfully Valencia CF survived the scare as he was flagged up for offside.
Hugo Duro tried his luck with a low drive in the final minutes of the first half, but Predrag Rajković gobbled it up.
However, Diego López got Valecia CF back on level terms after getting on the end of a Thierry Correia floated ball into the box which Diego López forcefully nodded past Predrag Rajković with a header on the turn on the stroke of half-time to make it 1-1 for Valencia CF
The first half finished one apiece at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.
The same script followed after the restart with the opposition turning up the tempo and looking to score while Valencia CF had some early defending to do in the early goings of the second stanza.
Giorgi Mamrdshvili pulled off a magnificent stop to deny Murqui and then survived a scare when Gio González rattled his near post and then yet again produced heroics to deny Dani Rodríguez after sticking out a hand to turn it behind for a corner kick.
The latter stages saw an open spell with both sides looking to find the winning goal and the first-team debut of Yarek Gasiorowski in the manner of a cameo in the dying embers of the second half. Valencia CF came away with a valuable draw from Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.
Valencia CF will host Cádiz CF on Monday the 23rd of October at 9 pm kick-off at Mestalla on Matchday 10 of LaLiga EA Sports where they try to return to winning ways after the international break.
